The Prophetic Poem (06/05/2015)

June 5, 2015

Father Oliveira recognized this as the most enigmatic event of his life. He had completed two masses and returned to the solitude of the parish grounds. After cleansing himself with a shower, offering prayers, and nourishing his body, he sought a moment of respite. The weather was serene, and his spirit was content. As his thoughts wandered, he expressed gratitude to God for the day's blessings.

He then entered a state of altered consciousness, a kind of ecstasy reminiscent of a similar experience he had during a retreat in 2006. During that retreat, Jesus had told him three events that had now come to pass. Father Oliveira categorized this phenomenon as an inner locution.

A voice echoed through his heart. With unwavering conviction, he believed it to be that of an angel, for it filled him with a profound sense of security. Although he could not discern whether it was his guardian angel or some other messenger sent by the Lord, for he was invisible, he heard his voice. The messenger asked that everything he would say be written down.

To the priest, it felt as though only about half an hour had passed. Yet, when the vision concluded, nearly three hours had elapsed, leaving him bewildered by the distortion of time. The following is the transcribed message he received.

The prophet reads the signs of the times

Unveils its secrets in a veiled script,

For only those attuned to spirits' discernment flight,

To understand their meaning and strength.

Therefore to you, to whom I address this prophecy,

Show it only to those whom I point out to,

So that they may do, without fear or dread of the truth,

What I will command them.

A hush fell after these words were spoken. Then, his voice resumed, weaving a tapestry of words that ceased only upon completion. The priest surmised that the verses, numbering twenty-seven stanzas, commence from here:

Evil thrives in darkness's embrace.

Few are those who know it,

And fewer are those who will find it.

A shadow stalks among you,

Named division and schism!

Defender of the wicked, assailant of the upright,

Deaf and blind to truth.

False saint, in pride´s cloaked,

By thy arrogance obscured,

Thou shalt be the first to fall.

The aged sage, versed in the Word, warns.

The youthful man boldly denounces.

Both succumb beneath force´s might

Struck down by the one who instigates.

The self-proclaimed free join hands

With those who say they are bound by rules,

For they are tormented

By the dread that arises in the midst of darkness.

The flock shall scatter.

The shepherd, isolated.

Then not even the most faithful,

Will evade destruction.

The heart of the just will be confused,

While the wicked´s hearts will overflow with glee.

Gold's madness shall reign supreme and bold,

As error's offspring roam unconstrained and cold.

Sorrow and fury will descend,

A lament unuttered before.

They'll yearn for death, their eyes to close,

To flee the fate they foresaw.

The staff rests on the ground!

The king's hall, void, an echoing hollow.

For the Lord of Truth, whose home was there

Now wanders homeless, seeking rest.

As empty as the back room's darkest space,

The father's heart lies.

After heeding the advice of the wicked,

He stumbles on, adrift.

All this shall bring forth

The Lord of Justice's wrath

Hades's gates set opened,

Forcing the righteous souls to flee

Yet I have called forth by name

The children of this generation.

They will be like beacons in the frozen night

An offer of solace for the weary souls.

They must seek the heavenly host,

Their spirits tempered, unyielding through the night.

They are the stone blocks of a new mountain,

The might to overcome the deceiver.

Underneath a moon, full and round,

This week, through the night, keep watch.

When evil finally falls,

A vigil must appear.

The called ones,

Must gather their own.

For in the days of darkness,

Their children will stand with them in vigil.

Hypocritical tears will fall,

The funeral procession will mask their glee¹.

Yet this joy will turn to bitter gall

Should the watchmen fail to see.

Whoever has read the words of this prophecy well,

Got it

The evil that is to come

And the evil that has already happened.

You must be prepared

To the darkness that will arise

And strong sentinel you must become

So that another worse evil cannot come.

The prophecy heard will bring peace,

The rejection of it will bring misfortune

The one who doesn't know what he's doing.

The One Who Says This Prophecy

He knows what he read in the signs.

Tell the truth and hope that the brother

Understand clear as the light in the stained glass windows.

The light will come,

Evil will be defeated.

The children of this time will ask themselves:

After all, isn't this our real mandate?

Since when was darkness greater than light?

Don't be fooled

By the speech of the one who seduces.

The hour has struck and they have begun,

Times of pain and fury.

Only those with eyes wide open

Will pass through the needle’s eye.

The Lord has already prepared

The trial of our time

And the lands of the shoe will see

The force of the storm and the wind.

But the tree that withstands the storm

Becomes strong and invincible.

The One Who Heard the Prophecy and Understood It

He will have a sensitive heart again.

And you prophet, prepare the soul

For suffering and pain.

You will be mistreated and persecuted

Because you have said everything with fervor.

After three and a quarter strokes,

Your peace will come.

You will be remembered as a prophet,

Even if some see you as a mere boy.

Close the book and rest,

Wait steadfast in living hope

From the one who tells you the words:

Don´t lose confidence.

Amen, amen.

There are many possible interpretations of this text. In this case, the priest leaves it to the reader to draw their own conclusions, because, for him, until today, this was the most complex phenomenon he has ever experienced.

Note: The poem was written down by Father Oliveira through the cell phone he had on hand. After the phenomenon had passed, he checked the text and noticed some typos. The beginning of the revelation was initially written as 'O profeta lê...' and was later revised to 'Ó profeta, lê...'. After further discernment, the passage was returned to the original version, as it appears in the current text ('O profeta lê', 'The prophet reads')."

¹Hide the joy of those present
