The Cry of the Mothers (02/02/2023)

On February 2nd, Father Oliveira awoke at 4:04 AM from a terrible nightmare. This is what he dreamed:

In a large, dark place, like an abandoned hangar, the priest was standing on a kind of stage. Before him was a multitude of women. All of them, dressed in a variety of ways, rich and poor, held babies in their arms. And all of them, without exception, were weeping uncontrollably.

He thought, "This is the Lord showing me the many abortions in the world." Then a voice, which he could not place, said to him:

"It is not about abortions, although that evil is great. The children here are on the laps of their parents.

One of the women, who was standing closest, looked at the priest with tears in her eyes. He asked her:

"Why are you crying?"

She said nothing, but simply opened the small blanket wrapped around her child and showed him. The child was deformed. Its feet and arms were crooked, and the shape of its body was strange.

Other women began to show their children as well. All of them revealed similar problems with their babies.

Upon seeing one woman with a child who appeared to be perfect, the priest commented:

"This one seems fine. Why are you crying?"

She then said something that filled him with immense anguish:

"There's something wrong with him on the inside..."

Suddenly, the priest saw the image of the Virgin Mary hovering above all the mothers. She was holding the Child Jesus in her arms, and they were both crying. Their tears fell like a bright rain on these mothers. Then, the dream ended.

After a period of discernment, we concluded that we should not try to interpret, but to highlight the presence of Our Lady of Tears and the Child Jesus with the mothers. Since revelation is of divine origin, its meaning is primarily spiritual. We must reject the temptation of divinatory gossip and trust in God even in his mysteries.

The proper focus of the revelation quoted should not be directed to sorrow, but to the spiritual comfort of those women, and that the meaning of that which ails them may be symbolic, not literal. As much as mothers shudder with fear in the event of shocking news of babies with malformations, they must never lose their faith and sin against God. They must remember that God is with them. He will protect their wombs, hearts, and children. By the tears of His Mother, He will be able to contain any situation.

In the hour of pain, meditate on the Lord's love for mothers, so great that He wanted to have one. All mothers remind Him of His, the most admirable of all. Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin hear us when we cry out to them. By having them in your heart, any temptation will be silenced.

This is what Psalm 4:4 tells us:

"Tremble, and sin no more; take thought, as you lie awake, in the silence of your hearts." ¹

Note:

¹ The Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, the Septuagint, was the version used.
