On September 14, 2023, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Northeastern Nun was praying for humanity and for the victims of a recent tragedy when she had a vision.
She saw the sky red and gloomy. In some areas, there were lights of different colors, similar to an aurora borealis. Several people were walking in the streets.
Some walked alone and seemed lost, not knowing which direction to go. They appeared to wander blindly. They were very frightened by the darkness. The nun felt pity for them.
Others walked together, in groups of three or more people. These had backpacks, carried a candle in their hands, and knew where to go. Each group went in a different direction. They were all praying. They were not afraid.
The nun had a strong intuition that this must precede the Three Days of Darkness.
The French stigmatic Marie-Julie Jahenny prophesied something similar on September 20, 1880:
“Two days of darkness, in addition to the three days of chastisement. Only blessed wax candles will provide light. The flame [of the Holy Spirit] says that, in the designs of the Lord, there will be two days of terrible darkness, distinct from the three days that many souls have announced. The sky will be violet and red, and so low that the tops of the tallest trees will seem lost in it, up to a quarter of their height. These two days will be a warning, like an authentic seal of God’s Goodness, but also of His descent through His Wrath upon the earth. You will not be exempt from this darkness...
During these two days, the trees will be burned and will not bear fruit the following year, for the sap will be as if burned and interrupted. The rain that falls from this low sky will have a pestilent odor, and wherever it falls, it will be like great hailstones of fire that will pierce even the most solid things and leave the mark of a visible burn. Your dwellings will be preserved. Only light coverings will suffer damage.
The water that flows over the earth will be black, a frightening black, and almost the entire earth will also be marked by it everywhere; but this will not harm what serves as food for Christians.
The flame says that, in Brittany, during these two days of darkness, under this low sky, a light will appear, but no one will be able to see it, for one must not expose their face by opening the door; there will be something sent by God, in the form of a burning flash, that will obscure the human eye.
The Lord urges me to convey His words and His will. The day of this darkness will still be bearable, despite the gloom... But if the day is calm, the night will be violent, and during the two nights, cries will arise from unknown places; no footsteps or movement will be heard on the earth, covered in Justice. During the night, the blessed candle, as well as the blessed wax candle, must not be extinguished. During the day, they may be dispensed with, by a grace that comes from the depths of God’s Heart.”
On November 28, 1881, Marie-Julie announced:
“The sun will be obscured beforehand, ahead of the true darkness, which will arrive 37 days after the signs of the sun’s darkness, the signs of the earth, and the announced storm.”
I understand that the Northeastern Nun had a revelation about the same event. Thus, 37 days before the Three Days of Darkness, the sky will turn red for two days.
Bless candles and keep them in your homes. While evil is blind, the children of God will be safe and able to make their way to refuges. For Our Lord told us: “Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness.” (John 8:12)
